I participated in the Path of Actions, a physical theater intensive hosted by Vali Theater Lab, and the Dance of Intentions by Roberta Carreri at the historic Odin Teatret in Holstebro, Denmark.

As part of the Bust! Intensive 2019 at Wisefool, New Mexico, I trained in clown, aerial, and acrobatics, and choreographed an aerial circus act on silks.

Lightning, Co-creater and performer

Phoebe co-created and performed in an original work of physical and visual theater directed by Jeremy Louise Eaton and produced at Double Edge Theatre 2021-2023. Lightning is a story of mystery, magic, and monstrosity, unspooling from the collective memory and imagination of its ensemble.
Vox Machinal, Lead Artist
February 2019
Phoebe reworked Sophie Treadwell's 1928 play Machinal and co-directed a radio-play adaptation featuring strange sounds, dream-like dances, and giant puppets.
Faust Haus, Lead Artist
October 2018
For a second time, Phoebe produced Bard's annual haunted house, this time writing an adaptation of the play Dr. Faustus as a circus - puppet cabaret. She directed this 25 minute piece, and performed her own solo aerial dance piece as "Fallen Angel" within the narrative.

Phoebe was the lead writer and director of Bard's annual circus apocalypse three years running. She also taught aerial choreography, made puppets, and performed in these surrealist spectacles.
Mad Hatter's Parade, Puppet-maker and performer

Phoebe assisted in the organization of this parade as part of Processional Arts Workshop (PAW) and constructed a sub-parade of sleepwalking dormice.

Apocalypse Dreams, Lead Artist

Phoebe co-wrote, directed, and performed the 16th annual circus apocalypse at Bard College. This was also her first solo venture into the world of puppet making and surrealist storytelling.

Phoebe produced a  theatrical interactive haunted house of Grimm's fairytales. Within this production, she directed and performed in a dramatic retelling of Little Red Cap through aerial dance and variety circus arts.
